Soudal Trade Bathroom and Kitchen Silicone is a high-performance, acetoxy cure silicone sealant specifically developed for sanitary environments such as bathrooms, kitchens, showers, and utility areas. It contains powerful fungicides to prevent mould growth and provides a long-lasting, waterproof seal on a variety of non-porous surfaces including ceramic, porcelain, glass, and enamel.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are dry, clean, and free from soap residue, grease, or old sealant.
2. Apply Sealant: Insert cartridge into standard sealant gun and apply a continuous bead to the joint.
3. Tooling: Smooth the bead immediately using a wet tool or spatula for best finish.
4. Curing: Avoid contact with water or cleaning agents until the sealant has fully cured.

Limitations

• Not paintable — use in visible areas where final colour is acceptable.
• Not suitable for natural stone, mirrors, or aquariums — use a neutral cure alternative.

Health & Safety

Contains acetic acid — use in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged skin exposure. Use PPE during application. Refer to the SDS for full guidance.
