Biokil Crown SBR Bonding Agent is a high-performance, water-based styrene-butadiene latex admixture used to enhance the performance of cementitious mixes and improve adhesion between surfaces. It is suitable for use as a bonding agent, primer, mortar additive, and waterproofing enhancer in rendering, screeding, and tanking applications. This versatile product increases flexibility, reduces shrinkage, and improves water and chemical resistance.

Application Instructions

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, sound, and free of oil, grease, or loose material.
2. Mixing: For bonding slurry, mix SBR with cement in a 1:1 to 1:2 ratio (by volume). For mortar or screed, replace part of the gauging water with diluted SBR.
3. Priming: Apply bonding slurry to the prepared surface and lay fresh mortar or render while tacky.
4. Curing: Protect from rapid drying and frost during the curing period.

Limitations

• Do not apply in temperatures below 5°C or to frozen surfaces.
• Not suitable for use as a standalone waterproofing system.
